I hate the garage
This morning I went to a couple of garage sales, which I love. I spent $5 for 4 books (hard cover - which I have no intent of reading, but they look pretty) and a mirror. It inspired me. I thought (for the 18th time this summer) "I'll have an impromptu garage sale tomorrow". As soon as I got home (around 9:30 am), I started sifting through the rubber totes in the garage (these had been in storage for 4 months). I sorted, tossed, consolidated (I'm down to 5 big totes of Christmas decorations - who needs this much stuff???). It's now 3:25 pm and the garage is completely torn apart. Everything I had intended to sell has either been taken to Goodwill, or set aside for the refugees, which I'll later take to the pastor and his wife who live down the street. We have stuff strewn everywhere and I have absolutely no intent of having a sale tomorrow, or any day in the near future. I HATE THE GARAGE. Nothing has a "place" and everything is dirty...no matter how well you keep the garage, everything is dirty. I've had 2 Coors lights, and I'm ready to quit. Problem is - everything is on the driveway. Do I shove it in and start back tomorrow, or do I keep cleaning for the next 8 hours and hope for the best? We'll see what happens I guess.
